Modern Methods and Timelines
for
Security in Registrations and Voting

(
Paperback  from Amazon)

Web 3V is an application of modern "Web 3" technologies
for more choices and security in the "Voting" process.

Voting choices range from an anonymous paper ballot via
postal mail, or on-site at a polling location, or online with a computer
or smartphone from home, work, travel, or military location.

For more security:
1. A no-regret first step would be unique registered
material IDs on voter ID cards and ballots. That first step would
provide assurance that every registered ballot was marked by an
anonymous voter with a registered voter ID card.

2. Online voting with a computer or smartphone can be authenticated
to validate the original registered marked ballot was recorded
as intended, without change, deletion, or duplication.

Web 3V is also a baseline for a new e-Voting standard by the
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
Standards Association.
That standard has features that could be localized for the needs and methods of a country or area of use.
