Modern Methods and Timelines
for
Security in Registrations and Voting

(
Paperback  from Amazon)

Web 3V is an application of "Web 3" technologies for
more choices and security in modern "Voting."

Choices range from anonymous voting with a
paper ballot and postal mail, to on-site voting at a polling location
or online voting with a computer or smartphone from
home, work, travel, polling, or military location.

Security in a modern registration and voting ecosystem
would be enhanced when:

1. Materials are registered with unique identities, to show
that registered ballots were marked by registered voters.

2. Chain of custody of registered ballots shows timing of
who or what had custody from creation to final disposition.

3. Authentication allows a voter to validate their original
marked ballot was recorded as intended, without change,
deletion, or duplication.

The e-Voting standard, by the IEEE Standards Association, was
also based on the Web 3V book.
That standard has features that
could be
localized for the needs of a country or area of use.
